About
I am a software engineer with 5+ years of professional experience building and maintaining web applications across the full stack, with a strong focus on backend development, cloud infrastructure, and system reliability.
My background spans traditional web stacks and modern frameworks and tooling. I've built and supported production systems using Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, PHP, and SQL, working directly with Linux servers (Ubuntu/CentOS), Apache, MySQL/MariaDB, and mail systems such as Postfix. That foundation gives me a strong understanding of how applications behave in real-world environments, not just in development.
In recent work, I've focused on modernizing systems and workflows using Python, Django, Docker, and cloud services, with hands-on experience deploying and operating applications on AWS, managing domains, and setting up infrastructure from the ground up.
I also have a genuine interest in machine learning and natural language processing, having worked with Python, TensorFlow, and Jupyter Notebooks, and managed ML-related services through AWS and IBM platforms.
Engineering & Learning
This website serves as a hands-on learning project and a reflection of how I approach engineering: practical, curious, and systems-focused. It was built using Go, Templ, and HTMX to explore performance, simplicity, and server-driven UI patterns. The project also marked my first end-to-end deployment, from domain purchase to AWS hosting.
I actively expand my skills in containerization and automation, with a focus on Docker-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, and enjoy working across the stack to improve both developer experience and system reliability.
